And although most bat species are not blood-sucking, somehow their love of dark caves, old buildings, and nocturnal life has made them a symbol of Halloween. 🦇

We love crochet ghosts, especially when they are more cute than scary! These two little ghosts both wear witch hats and have cheerful faces, and they are both beginner-friendly and require no sewing for the body parts. We designed the larger Ghost Plush Toy in the fall of 2023. We thought it would be a good size for children to play with. The following year, we came up with the idea of the Mini Ghost, a smaller and quicker project with a simpler shape, and an even better option if you’re making items for a craft fair.
You know that feeling when you are 90% done with a crochet project… and then comes the sewing. Ugh! 😄 Most crochet pumpkins are made in a way that, after finishing and stuffing the pumpkin, you have to use yarn to pull it together and create the segments. The yarn is wrapped around the outside of the stuffed pumpkin to give it its segmented shape. In this post, we want to show you two of our crochet pumpkin patterns that are different.

Of course, Susanne has been designing knit and crochet garments for herself and her family for the past 20–30 years, but she never had the opportunity to publish any of them. Until now!
